One of their men came over to Totton , put a spare tyre on and took flat tyre back to put new tyre on. Calling in on my way home they changed the tyre for me. Chris F9 March 2026Our car engine light came on during a very important day we expected it would be a spark plug or something, took it to the garage and before we had even entered the office the mechanic was plugging in his diagnostic machine, we entered and were greeted by a very lovely woman who booked the car in, we asked if there was a local car hire place or taxi company and bam keys were in our hand and her finger pointing out our courtesy car. We received a call several hours later saying our car was fixed, several spark plugs and a few other bits had to be replaced. We drove back dreading the bill. Arrived and the bill was about £100 less than we expect it would be (just for the spark plugs let alone the other work) The whole experience was utterly painless and very pleasant. Michael Willcox25 October 2025On the afternoon of Tuesday 21 Oct I broke down on a slip road onto the M3 and had to be towed over 20 miles to Lyndhurst where I was due to spend 3 nights. The mechanic told me one of my injectors had failed and needed replacing.The experience left me shaken and I feared that it would be difficult to get the car repaired in time for my return home on the 24th. I asked in the nearby Waterloo Arms for a recommendation and was given the name of Haydon, at Cadnam. Just after 8.30 on the 22nd I called them and spoke to Nicky who recommended Kevin Curtis to recover my car to them to see what they could do. He advised me to relax and get on with my day and left with the car. In the afternoon Nicky called me to say it was fixed, needed to be road tested, but would be available for me to collect after that. I checked online to try and find the times of buses to Cadnam. It said there were 4 a day - but didn't say at what times. So, when Nicky called to tell me the car was ready I told her that. After a brief hold she asked me to wait 10 minutes by the pub and one of the Haydon team would collect me!!. I still can't get over the how helpful they were, turning what had felt like a major disaster into little more than an inconvenience.Posted on Google

Richard Hunt14 December 2024I've been a few times, once they did a puncture knowing I couldn't pay (forgot wallet) . They trusted me, I trust them. The "unfair" queueing system is not what it seems, I feel. A lot of "queue jumpers" are coming round from the front garages post service/mot shop. Others may have been booked in previously. Overall the tyre boss runs a very clever and extremely efficient system. The fact that you have to wait to be fitted in is part and parcel of having a good garage that still makes a living. My personal wait times have been over an hour a couple of times. It comes with the territory.Posted on Google

After trying to change the tyre myself I gave up cos the wheel nuts were too tight so I phoned Haydens Tyres at 12.55, and they came and replaced my tyre, in a very professional manner and at 13.45 I was back at Haydens garage at Cadnam paying a very reasonable bill. 1ns4ne1d10t17 March 2023Need a new tyre? Need a damaged alloy repaired? 1. Read this review 2. Get down there 3. Do not look at any other tyre shop. Haydon Tyres is the only repair shop I've ever encountered out of many other shops that really puts the care and attention to detail in the work they do. After I had issues with my BMW 5 series I was at a witts end with it. It had been bodged badly, had horrible aftermarket wheels fitted to it (Which I hate), and became a nightmare. Took it into the Haydon workshop and my anxiety has gone. Did so much more then fit two new tyres for it. Not only did they fit x2 new fronts on it I was looking at £150+ each to fit the cheapest new tyres I could get on those awful wheels. I looked online at black circles, tyres on the drive, for the sizes I needed I couldn't find anything cheap. I came here and they quoted £75 each and if I hadn't come here I wouldn't have found that out. What a result!! Also they kindly fitted a dust cap to the tyre that was missing and that was a little detail to show how much they care about their work. The alloy wheel on the left near side was cracked internally and was the main offender out of the other three which kept deflating. They sent the cracked alloy off for a weld and a repair job for £90 and I was expecting it to take days. But no this shop did it in one day and the car was ready for collection. The guy also offered me some really good advice on the spacers for my alloys. He noticed straight away one spacer was a wider spacer than the rest of the spacers and that a locking bolt was missing off the wheel and that a thread hole for one of the bolts was damaged inside the hub. Most other tyre shops would fit your tyre and wouldn't even care. This is my 'To go' tyre shop from now on and highly recommended. The BMW is now sorted and drives well.
